FINALLY. I've finally finished ;___;
I have been working on this on and off (but mostly off) for months. It's my first "proper" statue I guess. I used a trophy stand as a base, and there's heavy wire armature inside, which I sculpted around. I used air dry clay, then sanded it, primed with acrylic primer (and sanded again), then painted with acrylic paints and varnished with acrylic primer.
Ever since seeing the work of
I've wanted to try sculpting too. But before this all I've ever done is play with little bits of clay haha... this is my first real sculpt, I guess. I'm pretty happy with the result 
Next I want to try working with LEDs (I always did like to push myself beyond the limits I thought previously possible). I have some cool shit in mind.

I just LOVE how smooth his body came out, and so nice and shiny as well! I love his open mouth too, and how you captured his angry expression so perfectly!
The splashing water is also so animated and really brings his pose to life! I'm looking forward to this LED project you have coming up next!
