Plushie design contest coming soon!!Yolo!
I'm going to be holding a plushie design contest reaaally soon guys! The basic concept will be: design an original fakemon (fake pokemon) according to the guidelines (to be provided), with best design being made into a plush!
I'll award the winner and runners up points too!

Design a male Anthro/furry/were contestI've been looking for some anthro/furry designs, but I haven't found any that really fit what I'm looking for. You MAY use bases, but please no pre-made linearts unless they're heavily altered with accessories or other details. I'm looking for creativity and effort, so the anatomy and such aren't as important, though they will be a factor. I WILL accept pre-made designs, as well, just make sure they are within the criteria ^u^ I would prefer more detailed art, but chibis are fine as well. No clothing (save accessories) or scene hair preferred (but you might be able to change my mind on the latter, worth a try if it's your thing P: ) A feral form is not necessary, but it would be a nice touch :3
I like original and creative designs that can have both natural and unnatural markings and patterns, though I prefer largely natural colors, though if they're subtle, or used for some markings rather than the base color, I do tend to like them. For accessories, and an overall style, it's a good

Fakemon plushie design contest!!!!

IT'S THE FAKEMON DESIGN CONTEST OF THE CENTURYYYYYY!!!!_{I wish…}
OPEN Jan 7th to Feb 7th
I would love everyone to participate in this!! ^_^ Because winning design will be made into a plush! And there will be points! MANY points!!

What is this contest thingy?
This is a Fakemon (fake Pokemon) design contest! I would like you to design some fakemon (up to 3 entries per person)!!

What are the prizes?
First place: I will make your design into a plush, and feature your design on my front page for a month! You will also win 400 points!
Runners up x3: Design featured on my page and 200 points each!

How do I enter?
Draw an original fakemon and LINK the drawing to this journal page Your entry/entries will be featured on my profile page for the duration of the contest. You may submit up to 3 entries. Please include the following in the artist's comments:
~Name and type of the fakemon
~A few sentences about it, like habits etc. I like to know these things, because then I can visualise it better and I know you have thought about your design!

How will it be judged?
I am looking for a design that is:
~Unique: It is entirely your own design! This means don't use sprites.
~Can be made into a plush: some designs are not good for plushing eg excessively complex, or floating parts etc. Use your brain! ^_^
~Aesthetic: The design is not too complex, not too many frills etc or random doo-dads. Simple is best remember!

I must stress that this is NOT a drawing contest. I am NOT judging your level of skill, I am judging your design. Although I prefer colored entries so I can imagine it as a plush! ^_^ But digital or traditional doesn't matter!

Extra things to note:
Please don't enter if you are not comfortable with me using your design to make plushies. You will of course be fully recognised and cited if I ever use your design!!
Although there is one winner of this contest, I would like to be able to plush ANY of the designs submitted in the future (of course recognising your creative ownership 100%) so if you submit, please know that I may make your plush even if you don't win ^_^.
